When you're somewhere as special as Cornwall, you don't just go to the cinema or spend time shopping when it rains... Cornwall has so much more to offer than that, so here are a few suggestions!
1) Kennall Vale, Near Falmouth
That's right – my favourite woodland walk and probably my favourite FREE rainy day activity!
2) Go surfing!
If you're going to get wet anyway, why not grab your wetsuit, head to Perranporth, Gwithian or Watergate and go jump in the sea!
3) Retallack Aqua Park, Near Wadebridge
Learn to surf on the Flowrider, give wakeboarding a go on the lake or have a fun-filled hour on the Total Wipeout style course! Just make sure you book in advance!
4) Tin Mines
Go and explore the underground tunnels at Geevor or Poldark mine and learn a thing or two about Cornwall's mining heritage. It's not cheap, but Geevor is the cheapest of the two and the one that I would recommend.
With quirky and unique museums all over Cornwall there's no need to be bored! You have The Witchcraft Museum in Boscastle, The Maritime Museum in Falmouth and The Telegraph Museum in Porthcurno. There's even The Tate Gallery in St Ives to!
